A review of The Lower Deck Bar and Grill – Clayton Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on 25 July 2014. This is not the famous (or is that infamous) pub along the Halifax waterfront, but rather an expansion restaurant. We were quite happy with our visit – a good selection of traditional pub fare and some dishes with a more exotic twist. Plus, we had live entertainment during our visit!

NNS020 – Farmer’s Daughter Country Market, Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia, Canada

A review of Farmer’s Daughter Country Market in Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia, Canada on 6 July 2014. Bottom line – we were a little disappointed with our visit – the breakfast selection was limited, it seemed like the staff were either new or needed more training, and a person (who seemed like the owner) was LOUDLY arguing with his companion as he was handling a sign. At least the quality of the food was nice, the decor interesting and the fudge was pretty tasty!
