Some leaders dread giving feedback, but it is a necessary skill in order to shape our teams to go in the direction that they need to go.  The author provides the following tips:

  1. Provide context
  2. Make it real
  3. Involve the employee
  4. Be objective
  5. Don’t try to change the employee
  6. Make it a two-way dialogue
  7. Don’t be intimidated.
